christmas doodles

Whilst i've had some time off this christmas i got myself a fountain pen and had a nosey at some fashion blogs/sites which i love! and this is the first results...looking forward to buying some coloured inks and seeing what i can come up with. christmas and exciting new things.

Well its been bloody freezing!I can remember wishing for snow constantly as a kid and now! it decides snow....a lot.
Christmas has been busy at the craft centre and writing new tracks with Sinead for the album has been going well so its all been pretty hectic. People are already asking when the album will be done and we've not even started...i have no answers but we're thinking probably late next year which seems far too long a wait for me but im sure the time will soon dissapear.

New song and gig on saturday

We've been getting really busy with writing new stuff recently...ive been stressing because we couldnt pin a track down but last night! i wrote something i think im actually pleased with...(doesn't happen often) and we've got our last gig for a while on saturday 27th November(this sat) at Manchesters Craft and Design Centre www.craftanddesign.com for a festive day with mulled wine and a choir after us at 2.30pm. Im looking forward to it! Its going to be the last gig for a while so we can concentrate on the new tracks and recording.

It was a bit of a shock to be handed this paper just before i played a solo gig at halifax's El campeo's 4th birthday gig.
Sinead had really hurt her neck so she couldn't play...eeek! we were billed as "the best to ever act play El Campeo"

We Are Willow

Hello,

The music project I've been working with Christopher butler from Butler-williams
called 'We Are Willow' (which is the name of the label we're both on) is now coming to a head :).

We've been touring the project in Toronto and Montreal and now its time to gig it here and release it.

right...after having an amazing time in Canada and new york for the past 3 weeks its back to reality and back to concentrating on some illustrative stuff...

i collected plenty of fun new ideas on my travels and i'd promised myself that id make sure that i started selling my stuff on etsy when i got back and that's just what i've done.
